    How We Score

Each pillar earns a share of its weight. Pillars that don’t apply to you are dropped and the score re-scales, so nobody loses points for being single or not having CPF. You need at least six pillars answered to get a score.

    How each pillar is scored
    PillarWhat We MeasureBenchmarkWeight
    Safety NetMonths your cash covers. 1 month = 20%, 3 months = 60%, 6 months = full marks.3 to 6 months of expenses (MoneySense)15

    What This Is And Isn’t

What it is: a quick, honest snapshot of eight money habits, scored the same way for everyone, with the formulas shown. It gives you a way to track your own progress month by month.

What it isn’t: advice on what to buy, a credit score, or a test you pass or fail. Two people with the same score can need different things. It doesn’t replace a full review of your situation, whether you do that yourself with our calculators or with an adviser you trust.

    What This Check-Up Assumes

The Money Check-Up is general education, not financial advice. It compares the numbers you enter with public rules of thumb from MoneySense, CPF Board, MAS and HDB, using bands we set and show above. It doesn’t know your full situation and doesn’t recommend any product. Scores are approximate: the CPF part assumes your pay stays the same and the Full Retirement Sum rises about 3.5% a year. Your answers stay on this device unless you save them.

    Where Are My Answers Stored?

Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent to WealthMastery.sg. Use Clear My Answers to remove them.

Why Did A Pillar Drop Out?

Family Protection only counts if someone relies on your income, and Retirement On Track only counts if you have CPF. When a pillar doesn’t apply, the score re-scales over the pillars that do.

    Is This Financial Advice?

No. It is general education that compares your numbers with public rules of thumb. It never recommends a product.
