Our Method

How This Comparison Works

We multiply each balance tier by the yearly rate you qualify for, then add them up. We test your salary and card spend against each bank’s conditions. Each bank is checked on its own, as if all your banking activity were there, not split across banks. OCBC uses standard Save rates. Temporary boosts and insurance or investment bonuses are left out. DBS uses the qualifying income, combined card and PayLah spend, and DBS-recognised home loan, insurance and investment amounts you enter. These do not check whether you can get those products. CIMB, UOB Stash and RHB use their published balance tiers. UOB Stash assumes your balance does not drop from month to month. Standard Chartered, BOC, Citi, OCBC FRANK and Trust Signature/Flex add only the salary, card-spend, GIRO, balance and balance-increase bonuses these inputs can represent, on the balance slice each bank states. MariBank and GXS use published Main Account, Saving Pocket or base rates. Trust Zen uses its flat 0.40% rate; Signature and Flex leave out card-spend, referral, investment, PayNow and foreign-currency bonuses. Accounts that earn more interest a year rank higher.

Only products we checked in the last 30 days can rank. Expired offers are left out. Paid links never change the order. We compare a selection of products, not every product on the market.

A yearly snapshot at today’s standard rates, not a forecast. Assumes you meet the selected conditions every month. The Save input is a qualifying monthly rise in average balance, not a projection of a growing balance. Rates may change. Excludes fall-below fees, card fees, compounding and day-count rounding. DBS-only fields add to the shared salary and card-spend inputs; do not double count. Use recognised monthly amounts from DBS Bank & Earn, not policy values or portfolio balances. Qualification periods and eligible products need separate confirmation. Trust defaults to Signature unless you select another plan in the Trust app; each plan is listed separately and you can hold only one at a time. Do not buy products solely for deposit interest.
