What This Estimate Assumes

Rough estimate only. A simple projection to 55 for full-rate employees (salary zero or at least S$750). It does not use graduated PR rates. It keeps 2026 allocation rates and the S$8,000 monthly salary ceiling fixed. Salary stays flat, with no bonuses. Each model month earns interest before new contributions, and your yearly SA top-up is split into equal monthly amounts. Interest is added once per 12-month model year, not on your real calendar or birthday cycle. OA housing payments come out before contributions. Any shortfall shows as total cash needed, not debt. OA earns 2.5% and SA/MA 4%. The extra 1% on the first S$60,000 combined (OA capped at S$20,000) all goes to SA, as a simplification. Caps MediSave at the 2026 Basic Healthcare Sum (BHS) of S$79,000, held flat, and moves the excess to SA up to the 2026 FRS, then to OA. Leaves out medical withdrawals, top-up limits and age-55 RA transfers. You choose your target at 55: the default S$220,400 is the 2026 FRS only, not a forecast for your cohort. Check CPF rules before acting.

What Does This Estimate Assume?

Simplified pre-55 projection for full-rate employees (salary zero or at least S$750); not graduated PR rates. Holds 2026 allocation rates and S$8,000 monthly ceiling constant. Flat salary, no bonuses. Model months accrue interest before new contributions and equal monthly instalments of the annual SA top-up; interest is added once per 12-month model year, not your actual calendar/birthday cycle. OA housing is deducted before contributions; any uncovered amount is shown as cumulative cash needed, not debt. OA 2.5%, SA/MA 4%; extra 1% on first S$60,000 combined (OA capped S$20,000), all extra credited to SA as a simplification. MA capped at the 2026 BHS of S$79,000 (held flat), excess to SA up to the 2026 FRS, then OA. No medical withdrawals, top-up eligibility limits or age-55 RA transfers. Enter your own age-55 benchmark: default S$220,400 is the 2026 FRS only, not a forecast for your cohort. Check CPF rules before acting.
